Quick Turnaround

Because our plans have been designed with computerized technology. Your request will be processed the same day we receive your order form, you can expect delivery within 48 hours.

Our exchange policy

Since building plans are printed in response to your order, we cannot honor requests for refunds. However, we will exchange your entire first order for an equal number of plans. a fee to cover Plotting and mailing cost will be $60.00, and $10.00 for each additional set.

Architectural and Engineering Seal

The state of Maine does not require that a licensed architect or engineer review and "seal" your plans prior to construction. Although when designs get complex and require structural calculations, we will contract the structural design to a structural engineering firm. FMC Cadd is a design drafting service. In most residential buildings engineering is not required, although a good technical designer is.

Compliance with Local Codes and Regulations

At the time of creation our plans are drawn to specifications published by Building Officials Code Administrators (BOCA). Some counties and municipalities have their own codes, zoning requirements and building regulations. Before starting construction, consult with local building authorities and make sure you comply with local ordinances and codes, including any necessary permits or inspections as building progresses. In some cases, minor modifications to your plans by your builder may be required to meet local conditions and requirements.
